Great News! ✨ Tania Vergara Contemporary Ballet is thrilled to announce we have been awarded an Opportunity Grant by the Sarasota Arts & Cultural Alliance.

The very welcome funds will help to support fees for our remarkable dancers, as well as other production expenses. Thank you to the Sarasota Arts & Cultural Alliance!

Our New Name

We are so very grateful for the friends and supporters of Endedans Contemporary Ballet, Sarasota’s vibrant rebirth of Cuba’s first contemporary ballet company. Founded by the gifted and visionary Tania Vergara Perez, Endedans has quickly become a creative force in the Sarasota-Manatee arts community.

Many of our fans and followers have mentioned that they aren’t sure how to pronounce Endedans or what the word means. But they are excited to attend any performance they see has been choreographed by Tania Vergara. Thus, we have changed our name to

Tania Vergara Contemporary Ballet

The name has changed—the artistry has not! Audiences will be treated to the same fantastic quality of dance-theater performances we’ve all come to admire from Tania Vergara and Endedans.

🎟️ Upcoming Performances—Mark Your Calendars!

All fall of 2025, we’re excited to present several powerful performances of Tania’s newest creation, “Casa Havana.”

“Casa Havana” is a dramatic dance-theater story of three siblings and their mother that examines the bonds of family love, romantic relationships, and the dynamics between young people full of dreams—and the painful departure of a son who chooses to leave. Set in the Cuba of 2025, the mood ranges from sadness and fear to a celebration of Cuban rhythms and community joy. This piece will feature original music by classical guitarist Juan de la Sierra and by Tania herself!

❤️ What the Community Is Saying

“To me there is no one in the contemporary dance space who is as talented and gracious as Tania Vergara. Through her choreography she takes you on a journey through a wide range of emotions in every dance. Whenever I see her work performed, I feel a sense of awe at what she creates, the joy of the dancers, and a sense of gratitude that she shares this talent with the community. Endedans is truly a gem in Sarasota.”

We believe dance is a language — one that can speak to every heart in the community. Thank you for being part of our journey.
