StarMaker, the leading digital-first music talent platform, today announced the winner of its “Sing with Corey Gray and Alexi Blue” contest with Keep Your Soul Records (KYS). The prize was a professional recording session and video shoot with KYS.

For his big win, Alex received studio time with musician and music producer Jake Coco, founder of Keep Your Soul Records, to record his own version of Kygo’s “Stole The Show.” Home to both Corey and Alexi, Keep Your Soul Records and its artists have racked more than 300 million views on YouTube and releases hundreds of videos every year.

“I was overwhelmed by the amount of talented singers that entered the StarMaker contest. Picking a winner was definitely not an easy task, but at the end of the day Alex Hobbs had an honesty in his voice that left me feeling like I NEEDED to hear more from him,” said Jake Coco.
StarMaker lauched this promotion back in March in partnership with Keep Your Soul Records to find the best cover of Gray’s original song “Step Away” and Blue’s single, “Wild Heart”. While Alex Hobbs was announced the grand prize winner by Jake, Jackie Junta was chosen as the runner-up.
