Star-Packed Tuesday Night Opry Shows
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – (August 20, 2014) – The Grand Ole Opry last night featured performances by Carrie Underwood, Trace Adkins, Craig Morgan, Mark Chesnutt, Joel Crouse, and more during two shows. MCA’s Sam Hunt made his Opry debut, and Crouse signed copies of his debut CD, Even The River Runs, in The Opry Shop before the two shows.
During his performance, Morgan, the national celebrity spokesperson for The Spirit of Blue Foundation, recognized law enforcement officers in the audience. The Spirit of Blue Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to improving the safety of police officers by providing safety equipment and training to agencies who face funding shortages. Members of the Franklin, Tennessee Police Department took the Opry stage to accept a safety equipment grant from Morgan and the Spirit of Blue Board of Directors that will be used purchase 17 new helmets for their SWAT team.
