ILLINOIS GUBERNATORIAL DEBATE
St. Louis Public Radio | 90.7 KWMU and Quincy Public Radio | 90.3 WQUB will air live coverage of the Illinois Gubernatorial debate between Democrat Pat Quinn and Republican Bruce Rauner on Thursday, October 8 at 8:00 p.m. The debate, which will take place in Peoria, is co-sponsored by WTVP-TV, WILL-AM-FM-TV, WUIS-FM, WSIU-FM-TV and the League of Women Voters of Illinois.
Moderator and panelists: Jak Tichenor, host of Illinois Lawmakers, from WSIU will moderate. A panel of three journalists will question the candidates: H. Wayne Wilson, host/producer of WTVP’s At Issue; Amanda Vinicky, statehouse bureau chief, from WUIS; and Jamey Dunn, statehouse bureau chief of Illinois Issues magazine.
