 Devon Allman and Duane Betts will return to the Legendary Fillmore West in San Francisco for The Allman Family Revival. For the second year in a row, friends and family will gather in celebration of Gregg Allman’s birthday.
The Allman Family Revival, 2018 will feature Devon Allman, Duane Betts, Berry Oakley Jr., Luther and Cody Dickinson, G. Love, Samantha Fish, Jimmy Hall, Ally Venable, Alex Orbison, Marcus King, Robert Randolph and Lamar Williams Jr., plus lighting and video from Brotherhood of Light.

“What an honor to make a record at Muscle Shoals Sound Studio. It was very important to me to make a 100% analog recording on 2 inch tape to try and evoke the vibes of the records we grew up with. To do that in such a historic place is so profound to us. Also, producer Matt Ross-Spang is a longtime friend and the perfect cat to help our vision. There’s some classic 70’s rock feels, some RnB, some Texas, some Nashville….soulful Americana, with teeth. We are stoked to share it with the world in Spring 2019.”

– Duane Betts The Allman Betts Band has wrapped recording their new record at Muscle Shoals Sound Studio.
The record, produced by Grammy winning Matt Ross-Spang (Jason Isbell, Margo Price, John Prine and Elvis Presley), is expected to be released in the Spring, 2019.
The new ABB will include Devon Allman, Duane Betts, Berry Oakley Jr. (son of original Allman Brothers Band bassist Berry Oakley), slide guitar virtuoso Johnny Stachela, keyboardist John Ginty (Robert Randolph’s Family Band, Dixie Chicks) and DAP percussionists R. Scott Bryan (Sheryl Crow) and John Lum.
Peter Levin (Gregg Allman’s Hammond B3 player) and Chuck Leavell (former Allman Brothers Band keyboardist and current Rolling Stones keyboardist) will also appear on the record. ###
Before the official launch of The Allman Betts Band in 2019, you can find Devon and Duane on tour through late February 2019 as “The Devon Allman Project with special guest Duane Betts”. Then in March, 2019, The Allman Betts Band will embark on a worldwide tour that will feature new music, songs from their solo projects and classic Allman Brothers and Gregg Allman tunes in honor of the 50th Anniversary of The Allman Brothers Band.
