What: Chamber Soirées Series: Mozart Madness 1 and 2

‘Mozart Madness’ is a two-night Mozart chamber festival featuring Sarasota Orchestra chamber ensembles. 

Repertoire favorites for Thursday’s performance include: Mozart’s String Quartet No. 16, and Piano Quintet K. 452.

Friday’s performance includes composer Alfred Schnittke, a 20th Century composer influenced by Mozart.  Schnittke used Mozart as an inspiration for his composition Moz-Art à la Haydn.  Also featured in this performance is Mozart’s String Quintet in G Minor, which is performed by a string quartet with an extra viola.

Patrons enjoy complimentary hors d’oeuvres beginning at 4:30 pm.
