Sarasota County Fire Department to remember 9/11
SARASOTA COUNTY – Sarasota County Fire Department station personnel will take time to honor those individuals who lost their lives on 9/11, never forgetting their valor, their service and their sacrifice.Station flags at all Sarasota County Fire Department stations will be lowered at half-mast during a moment of silence and remembrance at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 11. The department’s Honor Guard will be present at Fire Station No. 1, 1445 4th St., Sarasota, for a brief ceremony.
