SAINT LOUIS ZOO ASSOCIATION ELECTS NEW OFFICERS, NAMES NEW MEMBERS
The Saint Louis Zoo Association elected new officers and announced new members at its last meeting (December 4, 2014). The Saint Louis Zoo Association provides the Zoo leadership for fundraising, conservation education, programming, facilities, government relations and special events.
President of the Association is Matthew W. Geekie, Senior Vice President, Secretary and General Counsel, of Graybar Electric Company, Inc. Vice President is Joseph T. Ambrose, Regional President of First Bank. Treasurer is Maurice E. Quiroga, Executive Vice President, Managing Director at PNC Wealth Management, and Secretary is Stephen C. Jones, Partner, Armstrong Teasdale. Peggy A. Ritter, longtime volunteer leader, is immediate past
president.
New members of the board include Tom Barnett, Senior Vice President, Operations and Administration, Jim’s Formal Wear; Leif Bergquist, Trustee, Peters Family Fund; Georgia Costello, Ph.D., President, Southwestern Illinois College; Randall E. Gelzer, Jr., Director, Central Region, Government Operations, The Boeing Company; Molly Jones, Assistant General Counsel, Litigation, Monsanto; Patrick J. Moore, Principal, PJM Advisors, LLC; Gwendolyn D. Packnett, Ph.D., Assistant Vice Chancellor, Academic Affairs, University of Missouri-St. Louis; Kevin Pesko, President, Bank of Belleville; Marsha Rusnack, Community Volunteer; Joseph R. Sivewright, CEO, Nestlé Purina PetCare Company; and John A. Wright, Ph.D., Superintendent (retired), Ferguson/Florissant School District and Honorary Council for Senegal.
