The Fan-Favorite Podcast Returns June 21 with All-New Captivating Conversations
June 19, 2017 – Rock’n Robin Productions and ABC Radio announced today the return of Robin Roberts’ inspiring podcast “Robin Roberts: Everybody’s Got Something.” The first episode of the second season will be available for download and streaming on Wednesday, June 21st with subsequent episodes released each Wednesday. The 10-episode series will continue to feature aspirational, positive and intimate discussions that resonated so deeply with listeners in season one. Roberts, the Emmy Award-winning anchor, who has been exceptionally candid about her own challenges or “somethings,” gives listeners a front-row seat as guests share with her their challenges, struggles, and offer inspiration and hope for others.

The new season kicks off with award-winning actress Gabourey Sidibe discussing her unapologetic and witty debut memoir, This is Just My Face. Sidibe, who was nominated for an Academy Award for her performance in the film “Precious,” gets candid about her unconventional rise to fame. She brings a fresh and honest voice to illustrate her family life in Harlem with a polygamous father and a gifted mother who supported her two children by singing on the subway. Her memoir hits hard with self-knowing messages on friendship, depression, haters, race, weight and more.
Additional guests this season include actress Lea Michele, Grammy Award-winning singer Patti LaBelle, former NBA player Kenny Anderson, Gospel recording artist Mandisa and many more.
