Robertson Family Launches New Fundraiser for Drive Adoption with the Worldwide Foundation
Fans will donate for a chance to meet the Robertson Family of A&E’s Duck Dynasty; proceeds benefit Drive Adoption of the Worldwide Foundation

Monroe, LA. (September 21, 2015): There are nearly 200,000 children in the United States alone who are in need of a loving home. In order to help raise adoption awareness, A&E’s Duck Dynasty star-couple Willie and Korie have partnered with Worldwide Foundation to give their fans an opportunity to donate funds for a chance to win a special VIP Duck Commander experience. The winner gets to explore Duck Commander Head Quarters with Willie Robertson and fly in a private plane to watch the October 4 NFL Saints vs. Cowboys game from VIP seats.  Proceeds from these donations will benefit Drive Adoption, a new initiative of the Worldwide Foundation that has been created to provide education and awareness regarding both domestic and international adoption.

“I think it’s important for people to know that we adopted Will before we became rich and famous—I say that because I think sometimes people think that only the rich and famous have what it takes, the money, the staff, to give a home to a child,” says Duck Dynasty icon Willie Robertson, “But the truth is anyone can do it, once you have committed to make that kind of difference in a child’s life. It’s one of the best things we’ve ever done.”

Fans will donate on Omaze for various “experiences” and will receive a gift specific to the amount they donate. These items include limited edition t-shirts, autographed hats, a Skype session with Willie, or even an autographed 1840 Phowler Phrogger. The fundraiser is live for two weeks and will end on September 29.

“I’ve always been inspired by the verse that says true religion is to look after orphans and widows in their distress (James 1:27),” shares mother-of-five Korie Robertson, “From the moment we found out about Will, he was ours…I’ve done a lot of cool things in the past couple of years, I’ve been to SuperBowls, I’ve met presidents – but the best decision we have ever made – the decision that made the biggest impact on our life, was the adoption of our son Will.”
