Rising multi- talented child star Dusan Brown takes on the complex role of “Robert ‘Yummy’ Sandifer” in the feature biopic CHAINING DAY premiering at the Los Angeles Film Festival on Thursday, June 12th. Tackling the heart wrenching story of “Yummy”, the film depicts the events leading up to the TIME Magazine headline making tragic execution of an 11-year old gang member in Chicago. Recently, Brown starred in the NBC freshmen comedy series, ABOUT A BOY, alongside Minnie Driver, David Walton and Benjamin Stockham as “Jackson,” the outspoken best friend of “Marcus” (Stockham).

Proving his talent at a young age, Dusan got his start on the Broadway stage as ‘Young Simba’ in the musical travelling production of THE LION KING. After catching the acting bug, he graced the small screen on a number of hit primetime series including the Emmy Award Winning HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER, CRIMINAL MINDS, THE BIG BANG THEORY and COMMUNITY. He made his feature film debut alongside critically acclaimed actor Chadwick Boseman in the Jackie Robinson biopic 42 as young “Ed Charles”.
This fall, Brown can be heard voicing the title character of “AJ” in the highly anticipated NICKELODEON animated series, BLAZE AND THE MONSTER MACHINES which aims to educate and captivate pre-school aged children through interactive programming on a journey to explore the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM).
