Best known for his role as the young Ed Charles in the Jackie Robinson biopic feature film 42 alongside Chadwick Bossman, rising child star Dusan Brown voices Nickelodeon’s newest pre-school character, ‘AJ’ in the highly anticipated first of it’s kind, animated series, BLAZE AND THE MONSTER MACHINES airing Mondays at 12p/11c. ‘AJ,’ an eight-year-old boy who, with the help of his incredible monster truck ‘Blaze’, takes the viewer on an educational journey as they explore the areas of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). Each action-packed episode is filled with monster trucks, physical humor and upbeat original songs also voiced by Brown with lyrics that highlight the STEM concept such as adhesion, friction, force, trajectory and magnetism.

2014 was an exciting year for the pre-teen when he landed a recurring role as outgoing best friend ‘Jackson’ on the NBC hit freshmen comedy series ABOUT A BOY with Minnie Driver. Proving his talent at a young age, Dusan got his start on the Broadway stage as ‘Young Simba’ in the musical production of THE LION KING. After catching the acting bug, he graced the small screen on a number of hit primetime series including the Emmy Award Winning HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER, CRIMINAL MINDS, THE BIG BANG THEORY and COMMUNITY.

 

The Chicago native is on his way to becoming a young phenom destined to have a lengthy character, voice over and dramatic acting career.
