Following two explosive Dim Mak releases, Italian duo Retrohandz deliver a four-track jungle terror opus entitled Retrohandz & Friends. Each track presents a bone-crushing fusion of dancehall, electro and tribal components with thundering basslines and piercing synths. Featuring collaborations with artists like Biggs and Kandy, as well as vocalist Stush on the blistering lead single “Bruck Out,” the EP showcases the exotic, powerful qualities of jungle terror that Retrohandz has helped pioneer.
At the forefront of the smokin’ hot genre, the Milan-based duo has held their own, experiencing a meteoric rise in popularity in the last year. Their track “BOM BOM!” with Kandy charted in the Beatport Electro House Top 100 for over two weeks, as did the rapid-fire “Bruck Out (feat. Stush).”
Their original bangers and remixes alike can be heard across the festival circuit, as evidenced by Knife Party and Sidney Samson’s support of “Bruck Out” at Creamfields UK and Sziget Festival respectively. In addition, the mustache-clad tandem have received support from such dance music icons as Diplo, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, R3hab, Deorro, Chuckie and Steve Aoki. |
