The goal of RespectAbility is to fight stigmas and advances opportunities for people with disabilities. Our greatest allies in this battle for a better future are TV shows that accurately portray people with disabilities for the ABILITIES — and interesting lives and perspectives we offer. Fully 56 million Americans have a disability, but very few shows actually are accurate. Emmy-winning #BornThisWay features wonderfully accurate, fun and diverse portrayals of people with disabilities and the people who love them.
