Reflections on a Mockingbird
The Manatee Performing Arts Center is hosting for one night only, Reflections on a Mockingbird April 9, 2016 in Stone Hall. This evening retrospective will provide a unique look on Harper Lee’s classic novel of the south. Produced and conceived by Durand Adams with Lori Dorman as well as written by Lori Dorman; this is an evening you won’t want to miss.
This timeless classic has impacted readers for generations. Watch as an unforgettable novel is brought to life and discussed on stage.
Personal commentaries by Adam Tebrugge as Atticus Finch, Maggie Mooney-Portale as Scout, Jim Delgado as Jem and Jennifer Fury as Mayella.
A portion of the evening’s proceeds will benefit Legal Aid of Manasota. In partnership with the Manatee County Bar Association, this event is a part of the Manatee Performing Arts Center’s desire to build community awareness and provide socially relevant issues a voice through live theatrical presentations.
