New Beat Fund Premiere Video For “Sikka Takin The Hard Way”
Red Bull Records artists New Beat Fund premiered the video for “Sikka Takin The Hard Way” on MTV Friday. The track is the new single off debut album Sponge Fingerz, which was co-produced by Matt Wallace (Faith No More, Maroon 5) mixed by Tony Hoffer (Foster the People, Beck) and recorded at LA’s legendary Sound City Studios.
The Southern California four-piece combines sunny surf rock with elements of hip-hop, garage pop and west-coast punk, tossing it all in a blender to cook up a colorful mash-up they call “G-Punk.” For the past two years, New Beat Fund has been touring across the country, performing everywhere from local frat parties and bars to shows with blink-182, Mod Sun, New Politics and the Vans Warped Tour. They are spending their winter playing radio shows and just announced a slot on Napa’s Bottlerock Festival in May. Visit www.newbeatfund.com for show dates and more info.
