Arlington, Texas—The Texas Rangers return to Arlington on Monday night for a six-game homestand that features three games each with a pair of A.L. West Division rivals, the Seattle Mariners and Oakland A’s.

The Mariners make the first of three appearances at Globe Life Park with 7:05 p.m. games on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, April 27, 28, and 29. On Tuesday, the first 15,000 fans entering the park receive a Reliant Derek Holland Garden Gnome.  April 28 is Dollar Hot Dog Night and Dr Pepper Autograph Wednesday as Rangers players and coaches will be signing on the Globe Life Park concourse between 5:30 and 6:00 p.m.

 

Balloting to select the starters for the 2015 American and National League All-Star teams begins on Wednesday, April 29. The MLB All-Star Balloting Program is the largest fan balloting program in professional sports and for the first time, balloting will be available exclusively online. The ballot will be available at texasrangers.com, MLB.com, the MLB.com At Bat app, and the MLB.com Ballpark app. Balloting ends on Thursday, July 2 at 10:59 PM CT.

 

The A’s conclude the homestand with 7:05 p.m. games on Friday and Saturday, May 1-2 and a 2:05 p.m. matinee on Sunday, May 3. A Big Green Egg Fireworks Show follows Friday’s game, which is also the annual Arlington Appreciation Night. Fans may enter FIREWORKS as the coupon code on texasrangers.com to purchase $14 Upper Reserved tickets for the May 1 game.

 

On Saturday, country music artist Tracy Lawrence will perform in concert presented by Budweiser on the field at Globe Life Park following the game. The concert is free of charge to all fans attending the Rangers-A’s game that night and a limited number of field passes for the concert are on sale for an additional $12.00. That night, a number of fans will be accompanied by their canine companions for Bark in the Park presented by AvoDerm Natural Pet Foods, Nylabone, and ADAMS. Registration has already closed for this event, which includes a pre-game on-field parade and prizes for the best doggy costumes.

 

The homestand concludes on Sunday when the Christian rock band Casting Crowns will perform in concert presented by Buckner International on the field at Globe Life Park following the game. The concert is free of charge to all fans attending the Rangers-A’s game that day and a limited number of field passes for the concert are on sale for an additional $12.00.

FORMER RANGERS TO SIGN AUTOGRAPHS AT NEW ERA ALUMNI ALLEY

 

Fans will be able to receive free autographs from their favorite former Rangers all season long at the New Era Alumni Alley, which is located on the Budweiser Bowtie centerfield concourse near the Captain Morgan Club. Every Friday and Saturday a different former Ranger will be signing from 6:00-6:45 p.m. The alumni participating for the upcoming homestand will be former closer Jeff Russell on Friday, May 1 and longtime Rangers starter and reliever Darren Oliver on Saturday, May 2.
