The New Zealand duo – composed of Georgia and brother Caleb Nott – will perform on “The Late Late Show with James Corden” on Wednesday, May 18. Broods will kick off their North American summer tour on August 1 at the 9:30 Club in Washington, DC. The headline run will include a show at New York City’s Webster Hall on August 2 and an August 23 concert at The Novo in Los Angeles. Tickets are available now at www.broodsmusic.com. See below for itinerary.

“Free” is already in the Top 30 at Alternative radio, with more than 30 stations adding the track. The song has more than 4.5 million streams worldwide on Spotify. Soon after its release, “Free” ranked in the Top 10 of Spotify’s U.S. Viral chart and the Top 15 of the Global Viral chart. The video for “Free,” which was directed by Jessie Hill (Chris Cornell, Angus & Julia Stone), can be viewed HERE. Other standout tracks include the exuberant “Heartlines,” which was co-written with fellow New Zealander Lorde, and “Freak of Nature,” a darkly personal ballad about embracing and overcoming your own personal demons, which features Tove Lo.
Conscious is the follow up to Broods’ 2014 debut album, Evergreen, which contained the singles “Bridges” and “Mother & Father” and climbed into the Top 10 of Billboard’s Alternative Albums chart. Joel Little (Lorde, Sam Smith, Ellie Goulding), who produced Evergreen, served as Executive Producer on Conscious, producing many of the tracks. Additional producers include Broods, Alex Hope (Troye Sivan) and Captain Cuts.
