Poland’s premier music festival, Open’er has announced its full line-up.
The 100,000 capacity festival taking place from Wednesday 29th June to Saturday 2nd July has an unbelievable line-up that rivals the Main Stage at Glastonbury.
Now in its 15th year the lien-up is the festival’s best-ever with Pharrell, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Florence + The Machine, The Last Shadow Puppets, LCD Soundsytem, P J Harvey, Wiz Khalifa, Grimes, Foals, Bastille, Beirut, Caribou, Tame Impala, Chrches, M83, Sigur Rós, The 1975, Savages, Mac DeMarco, Kurt Vile & The Violators, Paul Kalkbrenner and rappers Vince Staples and Mac Miller all amongst the acts performing on Poland’s coast.

OPEN’ER FESTIVAL continues its tradition of attracting the world’s finest music talent to the coastal resort of Gdynia, Poland with Pharrell Williams, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Florence + The Machine and The Last Shadow Puppets all set to headline across its four days.
Poland’s largest music spectacle is celebrating its 15th year in style with its strongest line-up since its inception in 2001. Open’er takes place at Gdynia-Kosakowo Airport just outside of the scenic coastal town of Gdynia from Wednesday 29th June – Saturday 2nd July.
Joining the headliners to the bill are Wiz Khalifa, PJ Harvey, LCD Soundsystem, Grimes, Kurt Vile and Mac DeMarco.
Other acts already announced for this year’s festival include The 1975, At The Drive-In, Bastille, Chvrches, Tame Impala, Caribou, Foals, Beirut, M83, Sigur Rós, The 1975, Savages, Mac DeMarco, Kurt Vile & The Violators, Paul Kalkbrenner and rappers Vince Staples and Mac Miller.
Years and Years’ Olly Alexander hailed the crowd at Open’er as “the best crowds we have ever played to” and there is far more besides the music at this eclectic summer festival.
Warsaw’s Museum of Modern Art even decamps to Gdynia this year with a compelling collection entitled ‘140 beats Per Minute’, where mixed media and art showcase the tale 90s rave culture and modern art in Poland.
The movement was pivotal in modern Polish history as an underground scene was rising with the turn of the political system, often voicing the naive, but nonetheless authentic optimism of opening up to the world.
Last year, Open’er was headlined by Drake, Mumford and Sons, The Libertines and Kasabian on a bill that also included Alt-J, A$AP Rocky, Alabama Shakes, Major Lazer, Disclosure, Years & Years, St. Vincent, The Vaccines, The Prodigy and more.
