MidAmerica Productions Launches New Blog and Newsletter on April 1
New York, NY, March 31, 2015 – Peter Tiboris, the founder, general director, and music director of MidAmerica Productions, announces the creation of a blog and newsletter dedicated to sharing news and information about the company’s forthcoming concerts in New York, Europe, and now Asia. The blog will be available at http://blog.midamerica-music.com and on the company’s website, www.midamerica-music.com.
Said Peter Tiboris, “Our company is thriving, and presently we are embarking on many new ventures. We think this is a good time to enhance communications with our clients and prospective clients to let them know of the many performance opportunities that we are offering in this country and abroad.”
The blog will include information about MidAmerica Productions’ performances between April and June, 2015, in Carnegie Hall in New York; and MidAm International’s performances in June in Florence, Italy; and July in Syros, Greece at the Festival of the Aegean. In 2016, MidAmerica Productions and MidAm International will present concerts in Carnegie Hall; Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall; Florence, Italy; Vienna, Austria; and Macao, China.

The foremost independent producer of classical concerts in Carnegie Hall, MidAmerica Productions was conceived in 1983, and founded in January 1984 after Peter Tiboris conducted his first concert at Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center. Since then, the company has presented more than 1250 concerts worldwide, including 541 in Stern Auditorium/Perelman Stage at Carnegie Hall, and 384 in Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall. Although Peter Tiboris has conducted many of MidAmerica’s performances in Carnegie Hall, he has also gone on to establish a major conducting career with top orchestras and at revered venues throughout the world.
Nearly 11 years ago, Peter Tiboris established the award-winning Festival of the Aegean on the sunny Island of Syros, Greece, and through his company MidAm International, which was established in 2012, he has also presented concerts in Florence, Italy; Vienna, Austria, and soon Macao, China.
To produce the blog and newsletter, MidAmerica Productions is partnering with DigitalSherpa, a successful content marketing and social media company based in Norcross, Georgia.
