TOP VOCAL, ACTING AND DANCE COACHES FROM BROADWAY CONVERGE ON THE CATSKILL FOR BROADWAY IN THE MOUNTAINS (BinM)

Registration Now Underway for Summer Theater Intensive Performance Camp Hosted at the Catskill Mountain Foundation
 

Hunter, NY –  Presented by Joseph Baker of Broadway Youth Ensemble and Leorah and Jordan Haberfield of A Time to Shine Cabaret is Broadway in the Mountains, a new intensive theatre performance program for children and young adults, Ages 10-17

 

In addition to Mr. Baker and Ms. Haberfield, other renowned teachers and coaches attending this intensive summer program include Juilliard faculty member Badiene MagazinerBroadway voice teacher Amelia Demayo; Acting Coach/Videographer Jonathan Phillips, and director/ choreographer Janine Molinari. 

 

The one week-long program, affectionately titled “Triple Threat Week, will he hosted at the Catskill Mountain Foundation in Hunter, New York from July 17-24, 2016, respectively. 
 
There will be a showcase on July 23rd at 6PM at the Doctorow Center that will be open to the public and industry notables.

 
Mr. Baker uses a unique approach to teaching by drawing on the expertise of seasoned Broadway performers and coaches. In addition to learning proper performance technique, participants will learn how to deal with common obstacles such as nervousness and stage fright in a fun and supportive atmosphere.

Two other guest artists, Marisa Perry from HAIRSPRAY and Composer/Coach/Performer Drew Gasparini will host one-day workshops for the attendees.

 
The BinM Program also has camp counselors who are former Broadway Kids, as an added bonus to the children attending.

If you love singing, dancing and acting and are looking for a way to develop your skills as a young musical theater performer, this program is the one for you.

Young performers between the ages of 10 and 17 with a passion for the performing arts are encouraged to sign up now for this one week intensive performance camp, as spaces are limited and are filling up quickly.

The Catskill Mountain Foundation which has organized a number of arts and chamber music programs for many years, is making its first foray into programs related to professional music theater.

Broadway in the Mountains is a week-long performance intensive camp in the beautiful town of Hunter NY, for young performers ages 10-18. Our program uses a unique approach to performing in front of any audience.
