ON AN ON’s new album, And The Wave Has Two Sides, has won attention for its strong songwriting and range and allowed the band to gain an even greater following. Stereogum described single “Icon Love” as “a great goddam synth-rock song, one put together by people who clearly know what they’re doing” and Entertainment Weekly dared readers to “try not to dance to ON AN ON’s ‘It’s Not Over.’” On the opposite end of the spectrum, Consequence of Sound noted that “as a sparse track, ‘Behind the Gun’ might be the best portrayal of what the band has learned since their quick debut. They’ve become even more tactful and aware of each other, resulting in lush and entrancing music.”
ON AN ON is comprised by Nate Eiesland, Alissa Ricci, and Ryne Estwing.
