ABC’s “NY Med” is the Most-Watched TV Show in its Slot on All 8 Telecasts in Season 2,
Growing 25% Over its Season 1 Average Two Years Ago
“NY Med” (10:00-11:00 p.m. – 5.5 million and 0.9/3 in AD18-49):
At 10:00 p.m., ABC’s season finale of “NY Med” finished as the most-watched TV show in the time period for the 8th consecutive week (5.5 million), winning on each telecast this season. “NY Med” was up 10% week to week in Total Viewers (5.5 million vs. 5.0 million), held even in Adults 18-49 (0.9/3) and was up 17% in Adults 25-54 (1.4/4 vs. 1.2/4), matching a season high on the latter measure.
- On average during its 2nd-season run, “NY Med” was up a strong 25% in Total Viewers (6.0 million vs. 4.8 million) over its first season two years ago. In fact, the show spiked 34% in Total Viewers over its first season finale (4.1 million on 8/21/12).
