(Los Angeles, CA)– Critically acclaimed U.K. based band, Nothing But Thieves are returning with their second album, Broken Machine. The album, which is produced by Mike Crossey (The 1975, Foals, Arctic Monkeys and Twenty One Pilots), is set for release on September 8th, 2017 via Sony Music U.K/RCA Records.
The first track off of the upcoming album entitled “Amsterdam” is available now at all digital retail providers. It was also Mista Jam’s “Hottest Record” on BBC Radio 1 this week.

Nothing But Thieves says “It was inspired by our love of direct, guttural choruses. It’s like Conor is spitting the words in your face. It’s visceral and has momentum but also this beautiful moment in the middle which feels like a break in a sea storm. We didn’t have all the pieces before going in to the studio and this was one of the tracks that really came alive during the recording progress. It pretty much demanded to be our first song back”.

Nothing But Thieves’ self-titled debut album is out via RCA Records/Sony Music U.K. and has sold over 250k and streamed over 174 Million tracks globally to date. The band performed the first single off of their album, “Trip Switch”, on Jimmy Kimmel Live! for their U.S. television debut, and it also hit No. 1 at Alternative Radio. Their second single, “Wake Up Call” (Click HERE to watch music video), was the #1 Most Added at Alternative Radio, and the band performed the hit song on Conan (Click HERE to watch) and The Late Late Show With James Corden (Click HERE to watch). Nothing But Thieves also played a number of summer festivals including BottleRock, Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits, Voodoo Festival, and Life Is Beautiful, and they headlined their own North American tour this past fall. Given the success surrounding their first album and anticipation for the second, Nothing But Thieves is a rock force to be reckoned with.
