Nikki Taylor, of Sarasota Memorial Healthcare Foundation, was recently nominated for SRQ Magazine Women Leaders in Business & Philanthropy Luncheon. In response to the nomination Taylor said “I am truly honored. We are in a community full of talented business women who never cease to amaze. Connecting with these amazing individuals inspires me. This also happens to be her personal mission as her father died of a rare illness in 2010. Taylor says “To improve the healthcare for Sarasota through engagement and philanthropy changes so many things and in my case, the “patient” was my Dad. When it happens to you, this all becomes very real. Having world renowned physicians, facilities and clinicians in our backyard makes for an ongoing effort.”

This year’s Women in Leadership luncheon took place at The Francis. This program is part of Women in Business, an initiative developed by SRQ Magazine that is meant to engage and empower women in our community. Previous Women in Business inductees include: Lee-En Chung, Barbara Zdravecky, and Massaro- Fain to name a few. This year’s Keynote speaker was Pam Van Der Lee, Chief Marketing Officer of iMatchitive.
