New York Times Best-Seller ‘Four Blood Moons’ to be Showcased in One-Night Event at Select U.S. Cinemas on March 23
Fathom Events, Goose Creek Productions, INPOP Records, ReelWorks Studios and The WTA Group Bring the Story of How Science, History and Scripture Align to the Big Screen for One Night This Spring
DENVER – February 17, 2015 – The highly anticipated “Four Blood Moons” comes to select U.S. cinemas nationwide on Monday, March 23 at 7:30 p.m. local time – presented by Fathom Events, Goose Creek Productions, INPOP Records, ReelWorks Studios and The WTA Group. Based on Pastor John Hagee’s best-selling book from Worthy Publishing, this docudrama explores a supernatural occurrence in which science, history and scripture all align in the examination of a rare lunar phenomenon that has over the centuries accompanied both tragedy and triumph for the Jewish people. In addition to the feature, audience members will hear insights from expert historians, religious scholars and commentators including filmmaker, speaker and author Dinesh D’Souza; radio host and author Dennis Prager; and noted author and historian David Barton.
Tickets for “Four Blood Moons” are available at participating theater box offices and online at www.FathomEvents.com. The event will be presented in more than 660 movie theaters around the country through Fathom’s Digital Broadcast Network. For a complete list of theater locations, visit the Fathom Events website (theaters and participants are subject to change).
“Four Blood Moons,” produced by Rick Eldridge and directed by Academy Award® Winner Kieth Merrill, explores the relationship between science, history and scripture while questioning the meaning behind the alignment of the last three series of Four Blood Moons. Only three times in the past 500 years have four of these blood moons occurred back to back and on major Jewish holy days. The fourth tetrad began April 15, 2014 on Passover. In October of last year, the second blood moon appeared on the Feast of Tabernacles. Blood moons in 2015 land on the same holy days.
“Fathom Events is thrilled to bring ‘Four Blood Moons’ to the big screen,” said Fathom Events CEO John Rubey. “Audience members will have the unique opportunity to learn about these series of events from all different angles through the panel’s expert insights.”
“Fathom’s distribution platform is perfect for this film, tied to specific events in time. We’re looking forward to people across the country seeing ‘Four Blood Moons’ in theaters on March 23,” said Rick Eldridge, producer.
