New York-based singer, songwriter, musician, and producer Jon Bellion releases an acoustic live version of fan favorite “Human” which is streaming exclusively on Spotify. A video of the song, featuring a live performance shot at MSR Studios in New York City, can now be viewed on VEVO. Due to the overwhelming response to his music, Jon went on be named Spotify’s Emerge artist of 2014 and the song topped Billboard’s Emerging Artists chart.
About Jon Bellion:
Inspired by such melodic singer-songwriters as Death Cab for Cutie’s Ben Gibbard, Paul Simon, and Phil Collins, as well as hip-hop artists Kanye West, the Neptunes, and J Dilla, the Long Island-born Bellion got his start making beats on his brother’s Triton keyboard at the age of 10. When he got older, he landed a publishing deal and broke into the industry writing and producing Jason Derulo’s “Trumpets” and Eminem’s Grammy-winning track “The Monster.” Since then, Bellion has built a sizeable grassroots fan base as an artist all on his own, releasing three albums of original songs free on the internet, including 2014’s The Definition, and completing two sold-out national headlining tours in the USA. Music fans may also recognize Bellion’s unique voice from his appearance of Zedd’s “Beautiful Now” and B.o.B’s “Violence.” He is currently finishing up his first album for Capitol Records, which will be released later this year.
