Realize Bradenton’s free outdoor concert series is back with live music at the 400-seat Mosaic Amphitheater on the Riverwalk in downtown Bradenton.

 

(Bradenton, FL) The music is back! Downtown Bradenton’s 400-seat Mosaic Amphitheater on the Riverwalk becomes the beautiful backdrop once again for inspired live music when Realize Bradenton’s popular “Music in the Park” series returns on April 8. This free, family-friendly, four concert series is April 8, 15, 22, and 29, 6-8 p.m., at 606 3rd Ave W, in downtown Bradenton. Local craft beer and other beverages and snacks will be available for purchase. Audience members are encouraged to bring picnic hampers, blankets and chairs—and their furry companions on leashes! Each event will also showcase dogs from local shelters who will be available for adoption. The series is made possible, in part, with support from the Bradenton Downtown Development Authority, the Bradenton Herald, the Animal Network, Royal Pet Rescue, and Moonracer No Kill Animal Rescue. The Gamble Creek Band is fronted by Kim Betts, daughter of Dickey Betts of the Allman Brothers Band. They’re a high-energy band featuring popular country/southern rock/classic rock hits that appeal to an audience of all ages.

 

Friday, April 15, 6-8 p.m. § Mosaic Amphitheater

Gumbo Boogie Band

Founded as an acoustic jug band with a funky Louisiana flavor, the Gumbo Boogie Band cranked up the beat and electrified in 1997. They serve up a tasty musical stew with good time, street party, New Orleans-style dance music, strong on Zydeco, adding swampy rock tunes and classic rockers to keep the party moving.

Goodnight Neverland

Goodnight Neverland is an indie/pop band from central Florida. Sharing the stage with artists such as Switchfoot, Vance Joy, Meg Myers, and The Mouglis, the band has gained a steady following over the years. Lead singer Kerry Courtney was also featured on the last season of American Idol.

La Lucha

This Tampa Bay-based trio consists of three best friends from three different parts of the world; Colombia, Mexico and the United States (Alejandro Arenas, bass; John O’Leary, piano; and Mark Feinman, drums). Their repertoire is a diverse mixture of Latin-inspired rhythms with jazz standards, twisted arrangements of pop songs and original compositions. La Lucha aims to create music that transcends genres and classifications. They consider music to be live art, which continues to breathe, grow and evolve with their commitment to it.
