MIX at SIX Returns to Harris Theater for Third Season

CHICAGO – The Harris Theater, today, announced the return of the beloved MIX at SIX series for 2017-18. MIX at SIX, the series the Chicago Tribune said “ups the cultural ante considerably,” is known for offering some of the theater’s most provocative and innovative work, at a time of day that makes it one of the most accessible and engaging performance series yet. MIX at SIX is HT’s signature happy hour performance series offering access to the best of music and dance – a subscription for all four performances is just $30.
Beginning at 6pm, this series sees renowned companies performing high energy, fast-paced, one-hour programs after work and opportunities for audiences to engage with featured performers. Enjoy craft cocktails from Harris Theater and food from Chicago’s most in demand food trucks, available for purchase on Lower Randolph outside the lobbies. By purchasing a subscription, you can enjoy all four performances for $30 ($7.50 per performance!).
This season, the Harris presented such renowned artists as Lil Buck, the classically trained ballet and hip hop dancer who has appeared with Madonna, the New York City Ballet, and was most recently seen nationally in partnership with Apple and Lexus, and STREB, the extreme action heroes who defy gravity and hit audiences with a literal boom.

Christian Scott, also known as Christian Scott aTunde Adjuah (born March 31, 1983, in New Orleans, Louisiana) is a two-time Edison Award winning (2010 and 2012) and Grammy Award nominated trumpeter, composer, producer, instrument designer and music executive. Scott’s Grammy nominated international recording debut, Rewind That, was called “arguably the most remarkable premiere the genre has seen in the last decade” by Billboard Magazine, earning Scott two prominent features on their cover and inclusion in their list of “Ones to Watch in 2006.”
