Mayor Garcetti will appear live on 97.1 AMP radio to discuss the Budweiser Made in America festival. Mayor Garcetti aggressively pursued the festival both for the economic benefit as the result of this weekend’s festival, and to demonstrate that the entertainment capital of the world is going to be aggressive about being a capital for the live entertainment industry, too.
Currently 500 people are employed setting up for the festival and 2,500 people will be employed each day of the event.

Mayor Garcetti will be holding open office hours where he will meet with constituents from the Harbor Area. Mayor Garcetti regularly held office hours where he met face-to-face with Angelenos as a Councilmember and continues that practice well into the second year of his administration. Mayor Garcetti has previously held office hours in Downtown, Van Nuys, Pacoima, Boyle Heights, and South L.A. Everyone who signs up either has a meeting with the Mayor or his staff.
