Modern Pentathlon Showcases Olympic Athletes!
The first Pentathlon was held in the ancient Olympic Games in 708 BC and consisted of running, long jump, spear throwing, discus and wrestling. It has continued throughout the ages at the Olympics and on other competitive stages. This year the Sarasota and Bradenton area Welcomes the World! Sandbar Sunday Brunch on Hiatus for Mother’s Day…Returns May 15th!
In honor of Mother’s Day, the Sandbar will be serving their chef inspired dinner menu starting at 11:30 am with lots of fresh from the farm produce and gulf to table seafood items that will delight everyone at your table. Love the Sandbar, love the beach area near your restaurant and love the sunset watching area outside your patio. My sister and I have come down several years in a row. We were able to walk to everything from our cottage on Spring Avenue and the Sandbar was always one of our favorites.
Got to see people get married on the beach, got to listen to the jazz from your patio during Sunday Brunch as we were relaxing in the sun on the beach. When we came down the 2nd time it was already like coming home. Thanks for a welcoming staff and for having such a great place for all of us beach lovers!
Had to send this picture because it has it all – the water, the sun, the clouds, the seagulls. It was so peaceful and relaxing. Hope to make it down again this fall.”
