Friday, September 18, 2015 // Toronto, ON –   Since 1986, the Women’s Blues Revue has wowed Toronto audiences with performances from some of the most accomplished women in Canadian blues, and this year will be no different. Massey Hall and the Toronto Blues Society are excited to announce the line-up for this year’s annual Women’s Blues Revue: Jully Black, Rita Chiarelli, Cécile Doo-Kingué,  Terra Lightfoot, Crystal Shawanda and Suzie Vinnick accompanied by the all-star Women’s Blues Revue Band featuring Rebecca Hennessy (trumpet/leader and member of the Massey Hall Band), Suzie Vinnick (guitar), Emily Burgess (guitar), Carlie Howell (bass), Morgan Doctor (drums), Colleen Allen (sax), Carrie Chesnutt (sax) and Lily Sazz (keyboards).
About the Artists

Named by CBC as one of the 25 “Greatest Canadian Singers Ever,” Jully Black has topped the charts, raked in numerous awards, collaborated with performers including Sean Paul and Destiny’s Child, and shared the stage with The Black Eyed Peas, Kanye West, Elton John and Etta James.
