MANATEE SUNRISE KIWANIS FOUNDATION GIVES
$80,000 DONATION TO MANATEE COUNTY
EARLY LEARNING COALITION

Palmetto, Florida, July 23rd, 2019 – The Manatee Sunrise Kiwanis Foundation (MSKF) has donated a Book Bus worth more than $60,000 to the Early Learning Coalition of Manatee County (ELC). In addition to the Bus, MSKF donated $20,000 worth of books to stock the Bus full of literature resources to benefit the children of Manatee County.
The ELC’s Book Bus will go out to schools, early child care and education providers, and special events in the community, allowing the ELC to reach even more young learners with their goal of investing in the future of children through early care and education.
Paul Sharff, CEO of the ELC of Manatee County, says: “We are exceptionally grateful to the Kiwanis Club of Manatee Sunrise for this tremendous new asset. With the new Book Bus, our staff will be able to provide more literary resources to our community than ever before. Special thanks to Mark Hildebrand, Paul Davis, and the Board of Directors of MSKF for making this generous donation possible.”
