Longboat Key residents invited to comment on draft concept plan for park
SARASOTA COUNTY – The Town of Longboat Key and Sarasota County Parks, Recreation and Natural Resources are asking the community for its feedback on the proposed amenities and park features for Bayfront Park.
A draft concept plan, which also includes a 3.8-acre gulf-to-bay parcel purchased through Sarasota County’s Neighborhood Parklands Acquisition Program, will be discussed and on display during the Open House meeting, scheduled for 2-4 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 30, at the Bayfront Park Recreation Center, 4052 Gulf of Mexico Drive, Longboat Key.
