PRESENTS ITS 2015 SPRING SEASON
Lehman Center for the Performing Arts will warm your heart and get you into the Swing of Spring as it continues its amazing season with these HOT new shows added to its 2015 roster.
The new shows include:
— Saturday, April 18th – The Godfather of Salsa, the great Andy Montañez presents 50 PLUS UNA HISTORIA EN CONCIERTO as he celebrates more than fifty years of performances. Produced by Lehman Center and José Raposo.
— Saturday, May 9th – OLD SCHOOL HIP HOP throws a Fever re-union concert celebrating the 38th anniversary of the legendary Disco Fever Nightclub in the Bronx with live on stage performances by Kurtis Blow, Rob Base, Sugar Hill Gang, Biz Markie, Grandmaster Melle Mel & Ness of The Furious 5, Soul Sonic Force, Sweet G, Mc Shan, Fearless Four, T-Ski Valley, Spyder-D, Spoonie Gee and Busy Bee Starki and More!. Hosted by Sal Abbatiello, Ralph Mcdaniels and Dr Bob Lee. Music by DJ Marley Marl, DJ Hollywood and DJ Brucie B. Produced by Lehman Centerand Sal Abbatiello.
— Saturday, May 16th – Direct from Puerto Rico UN ESPECIAL A LAS MADRES with “El Jibaro” Andres Jimenez and his entire band, plus the young voice of La Trova, Eduardo Villanueva and special guest Yesenia Cruz. Produced byLehman Center and José Raposo.
— Saturday, June 6th – LOS GRANDES MAESTROS DE LA SALSA, an evening of performances by the Puerto Rican Masters of both classic and contemporary salsa featuring Paquito Guzman, Ray De La Paz, Luisito Carrion, Michael Stuart, Moncho Rivera with special guest “Diva” Miki Vimari and More! Maestro Isidro Infante will direct the Orchestra composed of a select group of the best Puerto Rican musicians resident in New York. Produced by Lehman Center andLeo Tizol.

Lehman Center for the Performing Arts is on the campus of Lehman College/CUNY at 250 Bedford Park Boulevard West, Bronx, NY 10468. Tickets for all shows can be purchased by calling the Lehman Center box office at 718-960-8833(Monday through Friday, 10am–5pm and beginning at 12 noon on the day of the concert), or through 24-hour online access at www.LehmanCenter.org. Lehman Center is accessible by #4 or D train to Bedford Park Blvd. and is off the Saw Mill River Parkway and the Major Deegan Expressway. Low-cost on-site parking is available for $5.
