LISTEN TO “Do We All Feel It”
Friday, September 25, 2015 // Toronto, ON – Toronto’s Laser share their second single, “Do We All Feel It,” available today on Foreseen Entertainment. The track will be featured on their debut album, Night Driver, due in early 2016 – share via Soundcloud + purchase via iTunes.
Laser originated through the songwriting of Lisa Lobsinger, who will be already well known to many through her work with Broken Social Scene and Reverie Sound Revue, bringing the lyrics and basic song structures to fellow bandmates, the production duo of Paul Pfisterer (The Beauties) and Marty Kinack (Transistor Sound & Light Co), to put their sonic stamp on the material.
Of the track, Lobsinger stated, “This is a song about watching someone slowly destroy themselves while trying to protect yourself from how that feels. It’s about the choice, the guilt and the fear.”
Laser’s sound takes cues from electronic and atmospheric albums and late night country drives from Lisa and Paul’s Toronto home to Marty’s remote “studio in the forest.” Their music is an example of both the synthetic and the analog, both city and forest, of an atmosphere creating a score for an introspective and meditative drive out of town.
