Las Vegas, NV – May 21st, 2015 – Las Vegas-based rock outfit, Walk Off Hits, have teamed up with EARMILK to offer their new song, “Miss Jones,” as a free download today, here: http://bit.ly/1cQqBKk. The video for “Miss Jones” previously premiered with Popdust and is the latest song from the band’s album, For The Love Of The Game. The EP was produced by Abe LaMarca (Scottie Bro’s/Epic Records, Santa Fe and The Fat City Horns, Rastus, Michael Grimm-America’s Got Talent Winner). Regarding the song, the band states, “Miss Jones is the song we based the entire EP off of. From lyrics, to sound, to album art everything evolved around her character and the story behind her. In real life Miss Jones really screwed with my mind, but we took her craziness to a completely different level during the writing process, and then went even further with it in the production of the music video.”
Originally formed in 2010 as a pop/punk band, Walk Off Hits, which is Ross LaMarca (lead vocals/guitar), Spencer Sasarita (drums), Will Bauer (bass), Rion Rogers (keyboards), have since refined their sound into a more soulful/funky mix of catchy pop/rock that appeals to listeners of all ages. The band takes inspiration from the likes of Tower Of Power, The Isley Brothers, Wilson Picket, James Brown and Steve Wonder, and offer a sound truly unique to the alternative genre. The final product, For The Love Of The Game, is a combination of old-school vibes and catchy pop hooks. The band is working on their first-full length studio album, which is set to be released in June, 2015.
Walk Off Have received national success and has headlined The Home to Ohio Tour 2014 which had stops from Las Vegas to Cleveland. They have also headlined the House Of Blues inside Mandalay Bay and have performed residencies at the Excalibur Hotel and Casino and The Palms as well as hosting a monthly residency at Gold Spike. In addition, they are currently receiving airplay for their song, “Give It To Ya” on X 107.5 Las Vegas.
Throughout 2015, Walk Off Hits will be performing in support of their album, For The Love Of The Game.
