Las Vegas – One of the most exciting fighters in mixed martial arts returns to action when the Korean Zombie, Chan Sung Jung, collides with one of the top 145-pounders in the world, Dennis Bermudez. Jung has been a part of some of the most memorable fights in company history and has developed one of the most raucous fan followings in the sport. In his way, No. 8 Bermudez, looks to prove he belongs in the upper echelon of one of the sport’s most talked about divisions. In the co-main event, No. 12 Alexa Grasso will be out to show why she’s considered one of the hottest prospects in the sport when she meets veteran strawweight pioneer Felice Herrig at UFC FIGHT NIGHT®: BERMUDEZ vs. KOREAN ZOMBIE on Saturday, February 4 at Toyota Center in Houston, Texas, live on FS1.
Making his first Octagon® appearance since fulfilling his military obligations, The Korean Zombie (13-4, fighting out of Seoul, South Korea) looks to pick up right where he left off, having won three of his last four – with all three wins garnering post-fight bonus awards. The 29-year-old Korean’s first bout with Leonard Garcia is considered one of the greatest fights of all time and the twister submission he used to finish their rematch was the first in UFC® history. No stranger to his own post-fight bonuses, Bermudez (17-5, fighting out of Lindenhurst, N.Y.) hopes earning a third straight win will put him into the top five of the division and move him another step closer to a shot at the 145-pound crown.
At just 23 years old, undefeated Grasso (9-0, fighting out of Guadalajara, Mexico) has already strung together a nine-fight winning streak dating back to 2012 that includes four knockout finishes and made her one of the most talked about prospects in recent memory. When she meets Herrig (11-6, fighting out of Crystal Lake, Ill.), a veteran of 17 professional bouts and a multiple-time world kickboxing champion, Grasso will be in for the toughest test of her career. Herrig has long been one of the faces of the 115-pound division and after taking more than a year off before her last fight – a first round submission victory over Kailin Curran – the 32-year-old appears to be in the midst of a career resurgence and hopes to capitalize off Grasso’s hype and move right back into the thick of the division rankings.
In addition, a battle of top-15 light heavyweights will be on display when No. 6 Ovince Saint Preux (19-8, fighting out of Knoxville, Tenn.) clashes with No. 15 Jan Blachowicz (19-6, fighting out of Warsaw, Poland). Saint Preux has dangerous finishing power that has led to 10 knockout victories and four submissions, including a first round knockout of MMA legend Shogun Rua. Blachowicz also has the ability to finish the fight wherever it goes, registering five knockouts and seven submissions – six coming in the first round. With the 205-pound division being wide open, a win in Houston for either of these two athletes will put them in striking distance of title contention.

- 14 lightweight Evan Dunham (17-6, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nev.) takes on heavy hitting Abel Trujillo (15-6, 1 NC, fighting out of Boca Raton, Fla.)
