 There’s nothing like a cold drink and a hamburger hot off the grill. I can tell you from experience that’s especially true when you’re somewhere like Kandahar, Afghanistan. This Fourth of July, we were able to deliver our uniquely American celebration of independence to our troops around the world whose service makes it possible. The music, food and games we gave them were quite an event! This is what we do at the USO. We create authentically American moments for our troops, wherever they are, to say thank you – from all of us. These moments mean so much to our troops serving around the world. I asked our team to get some photos of the celebrations – I hope you enjoy seeing them.
