(Malboro, MD) – Melodic hardcore band Louder Than Quiet teamed up with Jonny Craig for their new song/video “Red Gemini”. This marks the first time the band decided to deviate from writing about historical events/fictional tales and decided to write about something real. Their guitarist/clean vocalist Ali ‘Alireza’ Rezghi wrote the lyrics about a deceptive ex-girlfriend. The Slaves frontman just so happens to be her favorite singer, so this song has an extra kick in the teeth for Ali and his bandmates. The video premiered via Alternative Press.

We worked really hard to make a song that was one of a kind,” says Rezghi. “The emotion that we started to put in our music has triggered something in our sound and working with Jonny has helped us bring it to life even more. He was always a huge inspiration and he encouraged us to let the world see what we have to offer

“Red Gemini” will be available on the soon-to-be-named upcoming album. The band has launched an INDIEGOGO campaign to help with it’s completion. Contributions can be made here.

About Louder Than Quiet:
The new group Louder Than Quiet is a Maryland based Melodic Death Metal/Post-Hardcore band that is beginning to gain momentum and make some significant noise in the music world. Formed in the fall of 2010 by five African American males, the members of the group found out they had one thing in common while in high school, they loved anything that was beautifully HEAVY. This sparked the members of the group to come together to write songs and start playing small shows at venues throughout the Washington DC metropolitan area.

The band consists of Urico (vocals), Domo (bass), Anthony “Airospace” (drums), Danny (lead guitar), and Alireza (guitar and vocals). With amazing persistence and polished stage presence well beyond their age LTQ was able to create a consistent fan base in the Washington D.C. area, a city mostly known for punk and hardcore.

Hungry for more recognition and a larger following the group started traveling to Virginia and other cities in Maryland to expand their music empire. The extreme energy and prowess that LTQ displays has not gone unnoticed. It has allowed them to perform as the opening act for several larger Death Metal groups such as “Thy Art Is Murder, I Wrestled A Bear Once, and Impending Doom.”

Collaborating with the groups “Chelsea Grin and Wretched” on their first EP has improved the groups credibility in the Metal arena, which the group hopes to translate into more fans when they finish their first full length LP. “Louder Than Quiet” hopes their music will bridge the gap between the Post Hardcore and Death Metal genres, with a new sound and tenacity.
