BAND KICKS OFF TOUR AT MOHEGAN SUN MAY 15TH
NEW YORK, NY (May 12, 2016) – Jonathan Jackson + Enation will release Blame-shifter, their new EP out tomorrow, May 13th on their own label, Hilasterion Records (distributed through Sony RED). And today, People Magazine is streaming the entire EP one day ahead of release. Listen HERE.
Jonathan, on break from filming his hit TV show, and his band worked with Grammy nominated producer Greg Archilla (Matchbox 20, Collective Soul) to record the five new songs plus a cover of “Unchained Melody” recorded live at The Grand Ole Opry. The new music which Songwriting Magazine says is “An ear-bursting whirlpool of surging guitars…the EP might be their rawest sounding record to date” will also be a part of their next full length album.

The past two years have been a whirlwind for the band. They partnered with Loud & Proud Records to release Radio Cinematic, which Billboard Magazine called “…contemporary, anthemic rock — Jackson proudly wears the influence of U2, Peter Gabriel and Coldplay on his sleeve as influences — is certainly something different…” and Rolling Stone said is “Filled with electric guitars, chest-beating vocals and swirling synths…”
Jonathan Jackson is a five-time Daytime EMMY® Award-winning actor for his role in General Hospital currently stars as “Avery Barkley” in the primetime drama Nashville. He is also known for his roles in films such as Deep End of the Ocean, Tuck Everlasting and Insomnia.
Jonathan Jackson (vocals, guitar), Richard Lee Jackson (drums) and Daniel Sweatt (bass) will be kicking off their tour this Sunday, May 15th at the Wolf Den at Mohegan Sun. Beat Root Revival will be joining the band on their tour beginning May 19th. All dates are listed below.
