“The video was filmed at our biggest one man show to date with 3,000 of our amazing fans in Tokyo, Japan,” explains front man and lead vocalist, Masato Hayakawa. “‘The Story’ is about not letting your fears take over your life. A simple song to sing to yourself when you’re up against a wall.”
“The Story” is off the band’s recent album, VENA, which was released on October 23rd, 2015. coldrain have also released official music videos for the singles “Words Of The Youth”, “Wrong”, and “Gone” off of Vena. “Gone” currently has over 1 million views and was added to rotation on SiriusXM Octane and Music Choice.
The band is now gearing up for a headlining tour in Europe and the UK, which kicks off next week and includes stops at Slam Dunk Music Festival. Following this, coldrain head to the States to perform all summer long at Vans Warped Tour.

About coldrain:
coldrain formed in 2007, in Nagoya, Japan, after five members from two local bands decided to get together and become more than just local. The band is composed of front man and lead singer Masato, bassist RxYxO (Ryo), drummer Katsuma, and guitarists Y.K.C (Yokochi) and Sugi.
Their first studio album, The Revelation, charted at #7 on the Japanese Album Charts, selling 10,000 copies in its first week, and was #1 on Japan’s Tower Record Chart.
