Since its announcement on May 16th, the tour has been lauded as one of the hottest tickets for the fall with Rolling Stone saying it “promises to recreate some of the stunning visuals and choreography that the singer usually packs into her music videos and unique live performances” and Bustle raved it’s “sure to be epic.” Due to overwhelming demand for tickets, there was a second Hollywood Bowl show added on Oct 9th.
Sia released her new album THIS IS ACTING (Monkey Puzzle Records/RCA Records) earlier this year to much critical acclaim. The New Yorker described it as “the Platonic ideal of a modern pop album,” with rave reviews across the board from The New York Times, Rolling Stone, Entertainment Weekly, The Fader, and many more. The album debuted at #4 on the Billboard 200 Chart, peaked at #1 on the ITunes chart in over 50 countries, and charted Top 10 in 8 countries worldwide, including #1 in her native Australia and #3 in the UK.
