HUNNY DEBUTS TRIPPY NEW MUSIC VIDEO FOR SINGLE “CRY FOR ME”

Released Today, The Video Debuted On Pigeons & Planes

Band Kicks Off Their Month Long Residency At The Bootleg Hi-Fi Tonight In Los Angeles

Residency Sponsored All Month Long By The World Famous KROQ

“This Cali-based sextet sings onto the scene with the upbeat force and swagger of a crunchier and more in your face Franz Ferdinand, and they waste no time in developing a catchy melody and upbeat demeanor with the new single, “Cry For Me.”  – Music Ninja

“L.A. rockers Hunny possesses a pop heart and post-punk spine. After a scratchy, marching intro you’d expect from Modest Mouse or Franz Ferdinand, “Cry for Me” cuts loose with emotive vocal, declaring “I can make you cry for me”– Buzzbands.la

LA indie/post-punk rockers HUNNY have released the trippy new music video for their breakthrough single “Cry For Me” over at Pigeons & Planes. Directed by Timothy Garrett, the video perfectly evokes the feeling of those crazy ‘90s infomercials complete with slow motion karate, vibrant primary colors and milky tears (you’ll understand once you check it out!)

The release of the single “Cry for Me” was met with universal acclaim, gaining more than 400,000 plays in its first 3 months on Soundcloud and charting on the top “Most Popular Tracks” on Hype Machine. Online support included features from numerous blogs such as Pigeons & Planes, Buzzbands.la, Indie Shuffle, Music Ninja and Hilly Dilly. The band also gained local support from KROQ where the single hit #1 on Kat Corbett’s Locals Only Show. The single was done with acclaimed producer/engineer Doug Boehm (Girls, Tokyo Police Club, Christopher Owens).
