“[Grace] is making a big splash with her soulful voice… Candyland destroyed it as they always do with their signature sound and style, which is often imitated but never duplicated.” – EDM Sauce
Grace and G-Eazys hit collaborative effort
You Dont Own Me redefines pop and r&b for a stunning, chilled-out original. Franks version, however, completely redefines the track into a gorgeous, retro club-house anthem which seamlessly melds throwback vibes with modern production techniques for an absolutely stunning 5-minute remix.
– Your EDM
Australian vocal powerhouse Grace has released today a remix EP of her hit single You Dont Own Me featuring G-Eazy with new, dance floor ready interpretations by Shaun Frank, Candyland, Chachi, Watashi, and Thrill.
A cover of Lesley Gores 1963 anthem, the track was co-produced by its original producer, the legendary Quincy Jones, and also Parker Ighile (Nicki Minaj). It topped the charts at #1 in Australia where it is certified double platinum and has surpassed over 15 million streams online. On October 1st, she will take to the stage at The Late Late Show with James Corden to perform the song for American audiences.
Grace released her debut EP, Memo, on May 26th via Regime Music Societe/RCýA Records. The EP is filled with original songs that highlight her influences, which range from Gladys Knight to Amy Winehouse. Grace co-wrote all of the EPs five songs, including the title track song when she was only 16 and recording it on her iPhone. Buy/Stream MEMO now: iTunes / Spotify / Amazon / Google Play.

About Grace
Eighteen-year-old Grace is one of the hottest pop-soul prospects this year. Hailing from Brisbane, Australia with UK roots, Grace grew up where the sounds of Smokey Robinson to Janis Joplin, and Shirley Bassey to Amy Winehouse, filled her home and fueled her soul. With a strong musical heritage (her grandparents toured with the Gibb brothers), Grace has developed a raw, throaty, soulful sound whose emotional timbre belies her tender years. Its easy to understand how that style was developed when she name-checks her biggest influences as Shirley Bassey, Minnie Riperton, Lauryn Hill, Amy Winehouse, Janis Joplin and Michael Jackson just to name a few.
