MIAMI, April 6, 2015- Renowned actress, TV host and entrepreneur, Gaby Espino, will host the “2015 Billboard Latin Music Awards Presented by State Farm,” to be broadcast live by Telemundo on Thursday, April 30th at 7pm/6c from the BankUnited Center at the University of Miami in Florida. Popular singer, actor and coach of Telemundo’s “La Voz Kids,” Pedro Fernández, will host the prestigious event that honors the best of Latin music, with Espino.
Gaby Espino is one of the most beloved and successful personalities in Spanish-language television. She has excelled as host of Telemundo’s popular “Premios Tu Mundo” awards since its inception in 2012 and also hosted the network’s musical competition, “Buscando Mi Ritmo,” in 2014. She is currently the host of Universal Studio’s “Studio Movie Plus,” which airs in more than 21 countries in Latin America.
With over 10 million followers, Espino is one of the most popular and influential Latinas on social media. Most recently, she was chosen as one of People en Español’s “25 Most Powerful Women” and has been featured several times in the magazine’s “50 Most Beautiful” issue. In addition, she was featured in Siempre Mujer’s “Women Who Inspire” issue. Espino also debuted in theater production as executive producer of the internationally acclaimed play “Brujas,” which debuted in Miami with 12 sold-out runs. As an actress, Espino has starred in internationally successful Telemundo productions, including “Santa Diabla,” “Más Sabe el Diablo” and “Sin Vergüenza,” which have been viewed in more than 120 countries.
