Foxwoods® Resort Casino, the Northeast’s premier entertainment hotel, gaming, and shopping destination, hosted GRAMMY Award-winning band Imagine Dragons for a New Year’s Eve concert event with special guest duo MS MR at the Grand Theater.
Highlights included:
- Dan Reynolds of Imagine Dragons performed a solo vocal of “Forever Young” which was later followed by Wayne Sermon of Imagine Dragons performing a guitar solo of “Auld Lang Syne.”
- Imagine Dragons performed “Radioactive” at the stroke of midnight after counting down from 30 seconds to ring in the New Year with the packed crowd at the Grand Theater.
- Reynolds addressed the crowd minutes before the New Year with a heartfelt message discussing “the present moment” to celebrate music and life with a positive outlook on the future and not to dwell in the past… “I believe in the future…I believe in tomorrow …I believe in right now.”
- MS MR started the evening off with an energetic set performing hit singles “Hurricane” and “How Does It Feel” among other songs.
