May 3rd, 2016, New York, NY – Founders Entertainment are excited to announce Governors Ball After Dark, a week long schedule of official late night programming for the sixth annual Governors Ball Music Festival. This year, New York City’s premiere live music event will take place Friday, June 3rd through Sunday, June 5th. As the days lead up to Governors Ball 2016, and when festivities conclude each night at Randall’s Island Park that weekend, the celebration will take place at intimate clubs and theaters throughout the city at venues like the storied Webster Hall, and dance club Output in Brooklyn.
Governors Ball After Dark kicks off on Tuesday, May 31st and Wednesday, June 1st with shows from Catfish And The Bottlemen and Bat For Lashes respectively, before going into high gear on Thursday, June 2nd with shows from Bully, Joey Bada$$, Bob Moses, and the Summer Series Kick Off at Samsung 837 (performers TBA) the night before the festival’s opening day on Friday, June 3rd. Governors Ball After Dark wraps up on Sunday night, June 5th, with the official Governors Ball Music Festival after party at Webster Hall.
