JACK GILHOOLEY – a New Dramatists alum with 2 NEA grants (One Individual Artist and one International to Centaur Theatre, Montreal), Fulbright Guest Artist Fellowships to U de Salamanca and National University/Maynooth , O’Neill Conference Guest Playwright, NY Foundation for The Arts grant, recipient of the first annual John Ringling Fund Artists’ Fellowship award, and winner of four Florida Arts Council grants. His plays have been presented internationally, five through Ford Foundation development subsidies. He has been a proud union member of AEA, SAG and American Federation of Teachers and he founded and chaired two college Theatre Departments. He is married to playwright and Starlite Players producer, Jo Morello.
A panel will follow the 70-minute reading featuring Dr. Courtney Ruffner Grieneisen, SCF Professor, English and Literature, Jeff Grieneisen, SCF Asst. Professor of English, Ralph Wilson, co-founder, FSU chapter UnKoch My Campus and Rhanna Bazzini, 81-year-old political activist/hiker.
