A new monthly event that revolves around celebrating women in the entertainment and music industry launched late last month at The Powder Room in Hollywood, CA. The first edition of WiE–fueled by Monster Energy Drink–attracted movers and shakers in entertainment, encompassing the worlds of music, TV, film and tech.
WiE brings together like-minded musicians, artists and media tastemakers in entertainment, lifestyle/fashion/health/fitness/sports/business as well as women that are key players in industry in an intimate setting (30-40 people). The evening offers a unique opportunity for a small group to meet and share ideas with other women working in entertainment that are ultra-connected as well as re-connect with friends.
Attendees joined a raffle for a complimentary cruise to the Bahamas as well as a thoughtfully assembled gift bag from the Made In America/MIA Project; see the photos below. Invitees enjoyed curated mocktails and cocktails from The Powder Room as well as hors d’oeuvres from the restaurant St. Felix.
